Operating behind the curtain in my studio, I have crafted a theatrical Melodic Noir slow-burn on my latest release, “The Beautiful Fool,” functioning as a forensic autopsy of an infatuation. It is a deep, high-contrast dive into the disorienting rush of being utterly, overwhelmingly smitten with someone.
The Narrative: Anatomy of an Infatuation
How do we justify stepping into a situation knowing the odds are stacked against us? “The Beautiful Fool” explores exactly that tension. It is the vulnerable, breathless space of locking eyes with a reality you know you should run from, but choosing to stay for just a little while longer.
