In the Marionette Noir archive, my rendition of “exile” serves as a clinical, high-fidelity audit of this internal divide. This isn’t just a cover; it is a forensic study of the “she vs. herself” dynamic. It captures the war between the version of the self conditioned to stay and the survivor who finally chooses the side door.
The Architecture of the Sound.

Paying homage to the atmospheric depth of Taylor Swift and Bon Iver, I wanted to treat the vocal production as a specialized instrument in a dark cabaret.

• The Internal Dialogue: By contrasting a natural higher register with a grounded, darker lower register, I’ve architected a visceral conversation between split versions of the psyche.

• 100% Human Authorship: Despite the cinematic textures, the creative control and emotional intent remain entirely mine, prioritizing artistic autonomy over digital convenience.

Reclaiming the Frequency

The weathered copper rose on the single’s artwork, with a wedding band resting on the stem, is a monument to a love that has become cold and manufactured. It represents the moment of reclamation; the shift from the hesitation of the spirit to becoming the conductor of my own frequency.

By documenting these internal “receipts,” I am broadcasting a clear message to my inner self: I am not your problem anymore.

The maps of the past have been burnt to ash. The frequency is finally clear. And the silence? It’s now the loudest thing in the room.
