THE PROBLEM (SOLVED)

  • The Atmosphere: Gritty Blues Alternative meets the raw storytelling of dark Americana.
  • The Verse: Melodic, soulful vocals that trace the timeline from the initial charm to the inevitable truth.
  • The Chorus: This is where the “wooden heart” catches fire. The vocals shift from the grit of the verse to a melodic, soaring anthem that asks the ultimate question: Did you think I was an actual marionette? It’s the sonic moment the puppet becomes the person and walks off the stage.
  • The Bridge: A searing, melodic slide guitar solo; a reclamation of the light and every star stolen during the season of lies.
  • The Outro: A rhythmic stomp-and-snap sequence. A countdown of the five-month acting job that ends with a sudden, final stop.

“Did you think I was an actual marionette? / Just a wooden heart for you to upset? / You played that song to make yourself the star / But the only ‘problem’ left is how empty you are.”

If you have ever been the sanctuary for someone who only brought you storms. If you have ever been told someone “just can’t get it right” while they manufacture your pain, this is your anthem.

The lesson is learned. The bridge is burnt. The solution is to cut the strings!

The Pattern

It only took five months to see the pattern, To watch you wrap yourself in Wallen’s “Problem” song. You played the victim, told me how you’re shattered, And how the world has done you nothing but wrong.

The Architect

You told me everybody hated on your name, That you were just a victim of a cruel, cold game. But four months in, the light began to change, And I saw the person that you’re trying to rearrange. You’re not the casualty of a broken past; You’re the architect of why it couldn’t last.

Chorus

You said you were the problem; well, for once you’re right, But I’m not the one who’s gonna stay and fight the fight. You’re the reason why the bridge began to burn; You’re the lesson that I didn’t have to learn. Did you think I was an actual marionette? Just a wooden heart for you to upset? You played that song to make yourself the star, But the only “problem” left is how empty you are.

The Manufacturing

You said, “I’m just a guy who can’t get it right,” But you got the lies perfectly polished and white. You aren’t “struggling” or “caught in the rain”; You’re the one who’s manufacturing the pain. It only took a season to see the true design, That your “victim” heart was just a clever line. You played your “Problem” song and expected a bough, But I’m the one calling the tune now. You said you were “just a man” who couldn’t stay true, But you were a ghost who thought I’d dance for you.

The Resolution

Keep your anthem, keep your sad guitar; I’m taking back the light and every single star. You can be the problem for the next in line, Because “problem solved” is the only thing that’s mine.

The Outro (The Countdown)

One month for the charm. Two months for the doubt. Three months for the truth to start leaking out. Four months of the acting, the “woe is me” show. Month five… You’re the problem… watch me go.
